Lately, I have been think about how many famous, successful people are out in the real world. Most of them did not even go to college. I have though most of my time I could do things to make money if I were not in college and my dad just believed in just one of my ideas.
- Frank Lloyd Wright - Architect - Never attended high school
- George Eastman - Founder of Kodak - Dropped out of high school
- Joyce C. Hall - Founder of Hallmark - Did not attend college
- Milton Hershey - Founder of Hershey Chocolate - 4th grade education
- Steve Wozniak - Co-founder of Apple - Did not complete college
- Tom Anderson - Founder of MySpace - Dropped out of high school Many more can be found at College Drop Outs Hall of Fame
I am not telling you that high school and college do not help make you successful but it is you that really makes you successful. I bet if I could get one person to buy into one of my ideas I could be successful. I do not wish share with you my idea because who knows what you may do with them.
The other hight I had a little piece of art that you can find being used on Twitter. It was a blast to design it for my client. I wish I could do more artwork than more school. Sometime I wonder why they make me take the classes I do at college just to get the degree in computer graphics. What idiot thought of that idea? Oh yeah, the one that wanted to make more money.
With every client they ask for a different style and item. This challenges me. I love the thrill of challenge. I have drawn headphones before but I would have never done this 3-D like illustration if my client never asked. I believe I learn from every piece I do.
