What a Job

Dear Kerby,

When I was in high school I remember covering one of my note books with Google logos. Later on I found out that the proper name was Google Doodles. I love how the logo easily changes based on what they are celebrating.

My mom loves to watch the CBS Sunday Morning Show and the did a segment on Google Doodles. How awesome was it to see the method that Google goes through just to create a logo that will be up for about 24 hours, give or take.

How awesome is it that they can make the logo look like it was made out of any medium. When an artist is celebrated the logo gets turned into oil paintings, acrylics, and the like. I bet You never though a computer be that advanced for art. They are probably the only company that can afford the software to do designs like that.

Take a closer look at Google. Did you see how fun it looked. It was playful. When I get a job that is one thing I look for because I have to go to it every day. Mind you, who does not like free food?

From what I know, and you have to remember this is me talking to a bear, I can share work knowledge.

  • Not everyone eats breakfast; food on the job site is important, even if employees supply it.
  • No one wants to go to as stressful job.
  • Working in teams and brainstorming can be fun if done right.
  • People like to leave work at work and not take it home.
  • If people have home problems it, more than likely, carries over in to the job performance.
In today's world more and more jobs are being created thanks to social media. Companies have jobs for people who know about websites and social media and can keep it up to date for them. These jobs were not around ten or more years ago. People have to lighten up in the workplace but yet they can still be professional.

Talk to you later, Bluelaugh

damn. How do you get a job at Google?

I also gotta wonder exactly how they filter out all the porn requests on that real-time search results screen.
