It is now 2012. A new start and a new computer. I waited a while to get mine fixed. I missed it a little bit. Now that I have it back it is not so bad. I have been doing more computer than TV and more music than TV.
Since I a long period of time off I had time to think about a continuation to a previous letter (Top What?). My new list include: Must Sing and Must Dance.
-
Must Sing to Songs/Artists (in order)
- Kimya Dawson
- Dust in the Wind - Kansas
- Walking in Memphis - Marc Cohn
- Sunny Afternoon - The Kinks
- Good Riddance - Green Day
- Aerosmith
- Yellow - Coldplay
- Feels Like The First Time - Foreigner
- Amy Winehouse
- Closing Time - Semisonic
-
Must Dance to Songs/Artists (in order)
- Here I Go Again - Whitesnake
- Pour Some Sugar On Me - Def Lepard
- Jump - Van Halen
- ZZ Top
- Hey Ya! - Outkast
- Ain't That a Kick in the Head - Dean Martin
- (Everything I Do) I Do For You - Bryan Adams
- How To Love - Lil Wayne
- Break on Through - The Doors
- Tom Petty
You can see I like music because I got three new records for Christmas: Bon Iver - Boniver, For Emma, Forever Ago - Bon Iver, and No Better Than This - John Mellencamp. I must be classified as a collector because I have records and not CDs or mp3s.
A friend of mine purchased a Lady Gaga CD any listened to it over and over again in the order it came in, he does not like random play. I purchased the same Lady Gaga on vinyl and when he had listened to it he though he knew the order of the songs. Turns out that they slipped some different songs in as a bonus. For me, I did not know the difference because I never heard the cd. Even when I get the record it comes with digital downloads or extra goodies most of the time. When they decide to add an extra to the package I never notice the price going up.
