This Just In

Dear Kerby,

Do you still go to the store to buy music? Over the past few years I have been looking for places to buy records from. I am not talking about the thrift store. If you did not know by now, they make new records. They are not as easy to find a CD. Where I live I know most of the good places to try any find something.

Ever since I got my record player I have been an online shopper of records. I found that the selection is great and the prices can be low. FYE, Hot Topic, Urban Outfitters, and Amazon are among the place I look for new releases. I do not have a problem with Amazon. If I find the record one day it will continue to be sold months later when I can purchase it. This is not true with Urban Outfitters. That store is always changing. They do not keep an album long. Plus, they have some music when you walk into the store but not exactly what you see online. Best Buy has hundreds of records online but sometimes I like the thrill of going to the store and getting one in my hands.

I think I am one of those people who likes everything of the days gone buy. That was such a simpler time. Everything was made to last for years rather than months. Don't get me wrong, I use new technology all the time, this is the world I am living it.

Talk to you later, Bluelaugh
